This is the last year of the F-bodies. This 35th Anniversary Special Edition, is an LS-1 powered push rod 350 cubic inch GM muscle machine. From the factory, this 5.7 liter puts out 325 horsepower and 340 ft/lbs. of torque. With this platform, much can be improved...
This Trans Am virtually represents what Nathaniel's stands for, the complete package. The bottom end was left alone for now, but not for long. Nathaniels started by removing the cylinder heads to begin work on the custom "Stage 2" street port and polish. All porting and polishing is done in house and custom designed for the specific application for which it will be in.

As the heads were receiving their treatment there was much more work to be done. An aftermarket cat-back exhaust was fitted as well as Koni adjustables and Eibach springs. . No problem...
With all this supercharged power, you need to stop. Stopping power is delivered by Baer Braking Systems. This kit is "bolt-on". But as we all know, it's not bolt-on until it's bolted on. Minor modifications are needed to fit these large brakes inside the factory wheels. Here are some before and after photos.

A new camshaft should be used to optimize the efficiency of more air flow via the porting and supercharger. After several measurements, careful planning, and years of experience are mixed together, a proper cam and custom pushrods are are assigned to duty. Nathaniel's chose to go with a custom CompCam.
After installing the cam, heads, and aftermarket headers, it was time for the supercharger. The Vortech supercharger kit chosen included an "aft-cooler". This intercooler is a water to air intercooler. The plans are to upgrade this setup to a custom air to air intercooler built by Nathaniel's. Performance gains with an air to air unit should be approximately 15% over the current setup.

Current Modifications:
- Vortech Supercharger kit with water-air intercooler
- Custom "Stage 2" street cylinder head port by Nathaniel's
- CompCam custom camshaft
- Custom length pushrods
- Custom built Panhard Bar
- K&N Air Filter
- Eibach Springs
- Koni Adjustable Shocks
- Synergyn "Chill Out" coolant additive
- Superchips custom programming specified by Nathaniel's
