This Mazda is track and street driven by an SCCA driving instructor. He is craving to go faster and drive harder. With stock turbos and internals, this car needs some custom tuning from Nathaniel's!
How about re-working the entire intake system to include a "can't be done" front mount intercooler? Nothing is impossible if you know what to do. This one of a kind RX-7 is sporting a fully custom designed and fabricated intake piping and front mounted intercooler from Nathaniel's.
The intake charge is now handled by madrel bent aluminum piping from the turbo compressor to the intercooler to the intake manifold. How can this be? Take a look. Fabricated brackets can be seen through out the engine compartment. A closer look will reveal that some items needed to be relocated slightly. There is also an enclosure designed for cold "ram" air into the K&N filter element.
All piping was polished to a glimmering shine before installation as was the custom radiator overflow tank.
